Whether you're navigating traffic, filtering or making tight turns, slow/low speed riding, is a crucial skill for all motorcyclists. It enhances safety and rider confidence. Mastering slow-speed control improves your ability to handle your motorcycle with precision and finesse.
Our sublime training team, (they are amazing) always seem to go the extra mile, to make the whole experience so much fun, to test and teach our wannabe snail riders.
Each rider receives guidance and advice prior to setting off -and of course they're always ready, in their heat resistant gloves hand to catch you, should 'slow' suddenly turn into 'stop' and you start to fall.
The Traffic Light 'Slow Race'. When the light changes to green, put your feet up and GO ...as slowly as you can to the finish line.
The 'Traffic Light Slow Race' even had the special prize of a cuddly 'Brian the Snail'
(yes, 'cuddly' no slime was used in the creation of this snail)
'Brian the Snail' was a character from the '70's children's programme 'The Magic Roundabout', voiced by Eric Thompson, dad of actors Emma & Sophie.
Brian the Snail was a cheeky character, with no talent for motorcycling ...not that I can remember that far back -ahem
